Echoes of my Soul" is a transformative immersive installation that invites the viewer into a sanctified realm of reflection and spiritual inquiry.
Comprising six large frames (120cm x 80cm) suspended sequentially from the ceiling, the work utilizes physical space as a narrative tool. Each frame acts as both a window and a mirror: the front displays a photograph surrounded by a vast "holy" white space, while the back features a mirror that reflects the preceding image, creating a perpetual visual echo.
The central photographs, often depicting statues, are overlaid with vibrant red sketch lines—a symbolic infusion of life and soul into static forms. This technique bridges the gap between past lives and current realities. By allowing the audience to photograph themselves within the mirrors, Eltonsi seamlessly merges the viewer's own image with the artwork, turning the exploration of memory and the interwoven nature of souls into a deeply personal, lived experience
