Flow of the Soul
70 W × 50 H × 5 D cm

In this evocative monochrome study, the artist captures the transcendental essence of the Sema—the meditation in motion practiced by Sufi dervishes. The composition rejects the static nature of traditional portraiture, instead utilizing long-exposure techniques to transform physical forms into spectral energy.

The central figure, anchored yet fluid, becomes a conduit between the terrestrial and the divine. The swirling white robes dissolve into smokelike filaments that merge with the surrounding haze, suggesting a loss of the individual 'self' into a universal collective. By stripping away color, the artist forces the viewer to focus on the interplay of light and shadow, evoking a sense of timelessness. This work is not merely a record of a dance; it is a visual manifestation of dhikr (remembrance), capturing the very moment where movement yields to stillness and the physical world yields to the spirit.
