Keramet
40 W × 40 H × 4 D cm

In Keramet, I wanted to visualize the spiritual weight of a legacy. The central figure, seated in a moment of absolute stillness and authority, represents the source of wisdom—the teacher or the sovereign whose presence anchor the world.

Surrounding him is a sea of kaftans. Some are hollow outlines, like shadows or echoes of those who came before, while others are filled with the vibrant patterns of history. I chose the kaftan as a symbol because it is more than just clothing; it is a vessel for the soul and a mark of one's station. By interlocking these forms across the black void of the canvas, I’m suggesting that we are all part of a continuous fabric of existence. The 'miracle' (Keramet) lies in the connection between the individual and the tradition—the way one person’s light can illuminate the patterns of an entire lineage. This piece is my tribute to the enduring power of those who leave a mark on the world, long after their physical presence has faded into the patterns of time
