Dr. Asmaa El-Desouki Professor, Doctor and Head of the Graphic Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, was born in Qalyubia Governorate on June 24, 1975. She obtained a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, in 2010.

She has a number of special exhibitions that embody the gradual development of her experience about her relationship to place, "The Landscape", which includes aspects of its activities and human relations with all its overlaps and dimensions, as well as various human cases through the faces of people in her life, including "Faces Exhibition" 2020,  "Al-Bayt" 2019, Serbia Exhibition 2018, "Al-Madia" Exhibition 2016, "Reflections" and the Symbolism of Place in Yemeni Architecture 2015, "The Dream of Place" Exhibition 2014, Sana'a 2013, "A Different Place" 2012, She was and still participating in most of the group exhibitions in Egypt since she was a student until now, the most important of which is the "General Exhibition", with the participation of her artworks in qualitative exhibitions in painting and graphics, while she was participating in some international exhibitions such as the "Egyptian Contemporary Art Exhibition" in China 2015.
