By painting these layered, translucent lips and facial features upon the mesh, I am exploring the universal nature of expression. Whether we are speaking, breathing, or remaining silent, the physical manifestation of our emotions is a language that precedes words. The transparency of the sieve allows these features to drift and overlap, suggesting that our individual voices are part of a larger, shared frequency. For me, this piece is a reminder that while the words we speak might vary, the breath behind them and the emotions they carry are identical across every border. It is a call to look past the filters we have built and recognize the common rhythm of our shared human story
