Skylines
40 W × 40 H × 3 D cm

With Skylines, I wanted to explore the idea of 'home' in a world that feels increasingly crowded and artificial. The background is a dense, monochrome maze of windows and steel—a representation of the relentless pace of urban life where everything is structured and repetitive.

In the heart of this steel forest, I placed the bird in its nest, shielded within a soft, luminous sphere. It is a bubble of life and color in a grayscale world. The nest, built from fragile twigs, rests on a branch that seems to struggle for its own space against the skyscrapers. For me, this piece is about the quiet persistence of nature. It’s a reminder that even in our most developed landscapes, there is a pulse of life that refuses to be ignored—a small, colorful sanctuary that exists despite the overwhelming geometry of the city. I hope that when viewers look at this, they feel that same spark of color and hope within the noise of their own daily skylines
