Fatma Lootah, born in Dubai, studied art at both the Baghdad Art Academy and the American University in Washington, D.C. She currently lives and works between Verona (Italy) and Dubai (UAE). Fatma began her artistic career in 1984 with performance art and has since exhibited her work in numerous countries, including the USA, Italy, France, India, Austria, Germany, Spain, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Kuwait, and, of course, the UAE.
