This striking contemporary sculpture presents a vibrant study of youthful contemplation and quiet companionship. The installation features three stylized figures of young girls, each rendered in a distinct matte pastel hue—lemon yellow, soft teal, and dusty rose—seated upon minimalist, tiered pedestals. Their poses are characterized by a sense of fluid weightlessness and introspection; with heads tilted back and eyes closed, they seem to inhabit a shared dreamscape or a moment of collective serenity. The coarse, tactile texture of the figures contrasts with the sharp, clean lines of the grey geometric blocks, emphasizing the organic vulnerability of the subjects against a structured environment.
Complementing the human figures are two small feline companions, matching the pink and teal color palette of the girls. The inclusion of these cats adds a whimsical, narrative layer to the work, suggesting a domestic intimacy or a symbolic representation of the "wildness" often associated with childhood innocence. By stripping away facial details and realistic color, the artist elevates the scene from a specific portrait to a universal exploration of adolescence and peace. The staggered arrangement of the pedestals creates a rhythmic verticality, guiding the viewer’s eye through a playful yet sophisticated dialogue between form, color, and emotion.
