Most of El-Zorba ‘s works depend upon the element of the figure and the bird. This would be achieved through manipulation of various blocs that combine: steadiness and movement, relaxation and tension, attraction and repulsion…variation and harmony, of the movement axes. Then, there would be variations in multiple directions, which in turn would confirm the values of kinetic rhythm in the surrounding space, in its various forms, either exterior around the bloc, or a space within the fabric and system of surface formation, that contains the sculptural mass.
The kinetic concept of El-Zorba’s endeavor would assert a continuation and permanence in the act of continuous inhalation, which makes us feel a mystic aura that is set free, facing the wind, while maintaining its kinetic balance and its harmonic rhythm values, which are always developing as a mutual relationship between movement and balance.

This striking abstract sculpture presents a masterclass in geometric tension and structural balance. Carved from a dark, dense material—likely basalt or polished granite—the work features a dominant vertical monolith that leans at a precarious angle, suggesting a state of suspended motion. This primary mass is anchored by a horizontal beam that extends toward a secondary, smaller form, creating a visual bridge that stabilizes the overall composition. The juxtaposition of razor-sharp edges with softly beveled transitions highlights a sophisticated understanding of volume and silhouette, where shadows are used as a physical medium to define the work's architecture.
The interplay of textures further elevates the piece, as the artist alternates between high-sheen polished surfaces and matte, light-absorbing planes. At the sculpture's apex and its far extremity, smaller organic shapes sit perched like sentinels, breaking the severity of the straight lines and introducing a sense of narrative curiosity. These details invite the viewer to explore the piece from multiple perspectives, as the shifting light reveals hidden facets and subtle curves. It is a contemplative study of weight and equilibrium, standing as a testament to the artist’s ability to imbue heavy, unyielding stone with a profound sense of poise and grace.
