In this piece, I wanted to capture the restless energy that exists before tranquility. The background is a sea of movement—ebbs and flows of red, green, and gold that represent the chaos of our world. To me, the papyrus is not just a surface; it is a connection to the earth and the centuries of history that came before us.
Resting atop this motion is the word السلام (As-Salam). I chose a bold, grounded script to act as an anchor, bringing a sense of order and stillness to the vibrant background. The gold speckles within the ink represent the divine light that exists within peace itself. It is a reminder that even when life is swirling and unpredictable, there is a core of tranquility we can always return to. By framing this moment, I am inviting you to look past the noise and find the silence written in ink
