Wanderlust

With Wanderlust, I wanted to capture that fleeting, sun-drenched feeling of being somewhere new, where every face you meet and every street you turn down feels like a beautiful blur. To me, wanderlust isn't just about traveling; it's about a state of mind—an openness to the world that makes you smile for no specific reason at all.

I chose the monotype process because I wanted the figure to look like a memory that is just starting to fade around the edges. It’s a singular moment that can never be replicated exactly the same way again. The neon pink frame is my way of pulling that memory into the present. It acts as a light-trap, energizing the muted tones of the print and giving it a heartbeat. When I look at this piece, I see the warmth of a human connection filtered through the electric energy of modern life. It is a reminder that no matter how far we travel, the most beautiful thing we carry with us is our capacity for joy
