Graduated at Faculty of Art Education in 1991, the first, Distinction with honours, which he works as professor of sculpture. Since then, began his journey with the Egyptian art movement and scientific research at the academic level, where appointed as Demonstrator in dimensional expression department in 1992.

 Through local level participated in the Youth Salon years 1991 till 2000 and the National exhibition between 2001 to 2015, Salon of small artwork years 1999, 2000, 2001 and awarded at both of them ,and constantly mutual interaction between artistic practices and theoretical research crystallized the artistic vision with doctoral research in 2004 , whose theme was " The benefit of the artistic values of ancient Egyptian sculpture in patterns of local and international sculpture " , where was architectural construction of the ancient Egyptian sculpture , both in the plastic treatment to sculpt the human body or the relationship between organizations of the various buildings . that was reflected on Hassan Kamel style in simplification and exploit open surfaces and extended to express his thoughts, trying to reach the expression in less detail and surface movements, and strive to extract core values and principles in ancient Egyptian sculpture and art, and through his works reads attention to reconcile the art with his free image as well as art in relation to society in its application. Kamel deals with the various materials to express his feelings and thoughts with multiple formulas. Especially various treatments of bronze and stones.

    Set up (12) Twelve personal exhibitions so far, at the American University in Cairo 2007, and Saad Zaghloul Cultural Centre 2009, and the Gezira Art Centre 2010, Hall Boushahri of Art 2013, The martyr Ahmed Basiony gallery (Art Education Faculty) 2014, Nile art gallery 2016, Elbab gallery (modern Egyptian art museum) 2017, Dai galleries 2017, Karim Francis 2018, in hall 44 in the Egyptian museum in Tahrir, Cairo, Egypt 2019, Zagpik gallery, sheikhzaied 2020, Motion gallery 2023.

Sharm El Sheikh -Egypt 2010, New Hampshire - United States 2011, Nashua - the United States 2012, Badr university, Egypt 2017, Madinaty City, Egypt 2016, 2017.

     He interested in the monumental work and won awards in this field, including first prize in the design competition field work in Sharm El- Sheikh, award- winning design and implementation of monumental work expresses the thought of the dean of Arabic literature, Dr. Taha Hussein, on Galaa square, Egypt.

Vision and philosophy

The faith in the specificity of the artistic experience and its connection to the place and its origins extends to all levels of indisputable premises. Hassan Kamel strives to extract the basic values and principles in sculpture and all ancient Egyptian arts. This was reflected in his adoption of his simplistic approach and the exploitation of open and extended surfaces to express his ideas. He reaches the message and the desired expression through the smallest details and surface motions, and through his works he reads the interest in reconciling art with his free image as well as art in his relationship with the community in his field image, using local natural or single raw materials, especially in the implementation of the general thought and vision of his work.
