A London-based contemporary artist originally from Baku, Azerbaijan. Working primarily in oil on canvas, her practice explores the emotional atmosphere of places, memories, and inner states through color, light, and composition. Her works often blur the line between reality and perception, transforming landscapes, interiors, and cities into immersive psychological spaces.

Akhundova holds a BA in Fine Art (Painting) from University of the Arts London and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. She has exhibited internationally, including in London, Baku, Rome, Berlin, Paris, and Bahrain, and is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.

Her work reflects a continuous exploration of perception, emotion, and the subtle energy of environments, inviting viewers into a state of reflection and calm.
