A graduate of Helwan University Fine Arts Faculty in painting (1990) is a Cairo-based painter, with origins from Jerusalem. She won the 11th Salon Jury Prize (Cairo, 1999), and since then has had multiple exhibitions at the Gezira Arts Center, the 9th and 10th International Cairo Biennale, and an international exhibition in Casablanca and Rabat (2007) on The Children of Palestine. Mannah's interests expand through the notion of complete abstraction. Taken from seemingly natural sceneries, with the exception that the terrains are composed from her daily encounters, her lone thoughts on meditation, nature, and strengths of energy build up onto flatulent surfaces, and allow for a physical realization of her visual thoughts into temporal and spiritual chances. Space is important; without the rules of nature and composition, she seeks the strength in every painting. The sense of touch, color distribution, and visual vibrancy could only be recorded during the vivid moment of its current time. In the lightness of her strokes contrasted against the stagnant weight of resisting color palettes, Mannah gives away the questioning of personal assumptions and opens up towards the innocence of simplicity. Raw movements, controlled and released energies, like many painters with an active abstract sensibility, she has realized how to consistently control her space using notions of wisdom, permanence, and the sturdiness of natural forms.
