A talented lecturer and photographer making significant contributions to the field of applied arts. Currently serving as a lecturer at 6 October University's Faculty of Applied Arts since April 2011, she combines her expertise in photography with her passion for education.

Maryam's educational journey is impressive, with a Ph.D. from Helwan University. Her doctoral research focused on the role of modern technologies in enhancing the quality of 3D cinematic image production, specifically stereoscopic cinema, and its impact on developing the cinematic language. Her study included an application of her research on a sample of foreign movies from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, she holds an MA in Applied Arts with a specialization in Cinematography and Photography from Helwan University. Her master's research centered on the treatment of digital cinema images using high dynamic range technology.

Maryam's individual photography exhibitions have garnered attention and praise both locally and internationally. Notable exhibitions include "The Bewildered Masses" at the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art in Poland in 2015, "Secrets of Towns" at The French Culture Centre in Alexandria in 2008, "Random Thoughts" at the Gezira Arts Centre, Ministry of Culture in Egypt in 2007, "Human Cases" at the Gezira Arts Centre, Ministry of Culture in Egypt in 2006, and "Features" at the El-Sawy Culture Wheel in Egypt in 2006. These exhibitions allowed Maryam to display her artistic vision and showcase her skillful photography.

Maryam's talent and dedication have been recognized through various awards and accolades. In 2017, she received the first prize in Experimental Photography at the Ninth Nile Photography Salon. She also won prizes at the Photography Competitions in The Vanguards (El Talia) in 2008 and at the El-Sawy Culture Wheel in 2008. Additionally, her work earned her prizes at the International Youth Salon in Alexandria in 2007 and the 18th Youth Salon in Egypt in 2007. Her contributions to photography were further acknowledged with prizes at the El-Sawy Culture Wheel Photography Competition in 2006 and the Production Awards for Young Creative Arab Artists in Belgium in 2004, sponsored by El Mawred Resource.

Maryam has actively participated in both international and local photography exhibitions, further cementing her position as a prominent figure in the photography community. Her works have captivated audiences, showcasing her artistic vision and technical prowess.
