Hanan Al Nahrawi is a talented Egyptian artist who was born deaf on March 20, 1963. She is known for her proficiency in a wide range of artistic styles and mediums, including oil painting, drawing, watercolors, engraving, sculpture, and painting and dressing. Al Nahrawi received her Professional Technical Diploma for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from the Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf in Shebeen El-Kom.

One of Al Nahrawi's signature techniques involves rendering characters with a razor and cutter on a black canson. Her works are known for their intricate detail and striking use of color. In addition, she is skilled in the art of dressing and painting, utilizing a drip technique that creates a unique and captivating texture.
