Renowned Consultant Artist and Sculptor

Born in Egypt in 1961, Salah Hammad is an internationally acclaimed sculptor and consultant artist with a career spanning over four decades. A graduate of the Faculty of Art Education, Cairo (1986), and a holder of a high diploma in Art Education (1991), Salah’s journey in art is marked by relentless dedication to creativity and innovation.

His exceptional talent earned him the prestigious Government Creative Arts Award from the Ministry of Culture, which facilitated three transformative years of artistic exploration in Italy (1993). Recognized further, he received the Carage Award from the Egyptian Government in 2000.

Salah’s work bridges cultures, with a professional presence in Egypt and Italy. He is a member of the Plastic Artists Syndicate, an advisory member of UNESCO for Culture, and the Vice President of the International Sculpture Symposium Alliance in China. As a faculty member at the Faculty of Artistic Education, Salah has also devoted himself to mentoring the next generation of artists.

Leadership in Art Symposiums

A trailblazer in organizing international art events, Salah has been instrumental in the success of several renowned symposiums:

● Aswan International Sculpture Symposium (1996–1997)

● Emirates Heights Village International Sculpture Symposium

● Sodic Metal International Sculpture Symposium (2011)

● Madinaty International Symposiums for Sculpture and Painting (2005–2022), where he served as the Head of the Organizing Committee.

Salah’s sculptures have graced numerous international symposiums and exhibitions across continents, including Italy, Sweden, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Turkey, China, and the United States. His pieces, known for their monumental scale and intricate craftsmanship, are part of prestigious collections such as:

Artistic Legacy

Salah’s work embodies a profound connection to heritage and modernity. His notable commissions include the restoration of the iconic "Nahdet Misr" granite statue, monumental sculptures for Madinaty City, and a stainless-steel masterpiece for King Salman International University.
