 Egyptian artist, curator, and author whose creative journey bridges visual expression and storytelling. With two published books to her name, she was honored with Maliha’s Award for short story writing in Sharjah in 2019.

Over the course of her career, Kamel has participated in more than 80 international art exhibitions and fairs across the globe, showcasing her work in China, Oxford, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Tokyo, Oman, Egypt, New York, Miami, Venice, Brazil, Belgium, and throughout the UAE. Her artwork is part of the permanent collection at the Bursa Museum of Immigration History in Turkey.

A certified curator from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Kamel has served as Curator of World Art Dubai since 2019. She has also curated several major exhibitions in Egypt, including “World Art Forum” at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and “Empower Her” at the Grand Egyptian Museum. In recognition of her expertise, she has twice been appointed as a jury member for the Haegumgang Theme Museum Art Festival in South Korea.

She has participated in the coveted Art Dubai, and Abu Dhabi Art as an art facilitator, and has organized charity auctions to support the art community and empower marginalized members of society. In addition, she has served as a mentor and panelist for emerging artists and various art competitions across Dubai.

Her dedication to art and culture was acknowledged through her nomination for the Emirates Woman of the Year 2018 award in the Art and Culture category.
