an Egyptian visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of contemporary abstract art and Egyptian heritage, drawing inspiration from ancient Egyptian civilization, Coptic and Islamic art, and Egypt’s layered cultural memory. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Cairo University. Her work moves across mixed media and layered surfaces, where accumulated visual strata reflect themes of identity, history, and collective memory. Alongside her studio practice, Kordy has led art workshops in collaboration with international institutions, including the International Organization for Migration (IOM), working closely with refugees and marginalized communities across Egypt. She has participated in several group exhibitions, most notably the 25th Youth Salon and a group exhibition at Zamalek Art Gallery, and serves as a jury member for art workshops at the Awladna Forum for People with Special Abilities.
