Salah El Meligy is a renowned professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo and a former head of the Fine Arts sector. He has participated in numerous local and international exhibitions and has held sixteen solo exhibitions. His notable exhibitions include the Norwegian Triennale of Graphics, the Cairo International Biennale, and the Egyptian International Graphic Triennale, among others. El Meligy has received numerous awards throughout his career, such as the First and Second place prizes at the Youth Salon Drawing Awards, the Fifth Cairo International Biennale Award in Drawing, and the International Bronze Award at the International Graphic Biennale for Dry Point Intaglio Prints in Serbia and Montenegro.
