Hager El Sayed (b. 1999, Cairo) is an Egyptian multidisciplinary artist working mainly in painting, while also exploring printmaking, video art, and installation, who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department. Her practice is centered on playing with characters, utilizing surrounding visual ironies, and employing a satirical style as tools to document and highlight the contradictions of contemporary reality.
Her stories and characters reflect overlapping aspects of individual identity and the human experience amidst modern complexities. The artist draws her inspiration and depth of analysis from street observations, media influence, and the pressures of economic and political transformations, aiming to deconstruct the concept of contemporary identity.
She has participated in several exhibitions, including solo exhibitions (FRAMED REALITIES ) with Medrar 2026 and “Life Won't Serve Us a Milkshake" (2025) with UG.social and many group exhibitions both inside and outside Egypt, such as "The Showcase" in with ATHR FOUNDATION in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2024).
